Our customers enjoy knowledgeable salespeople that are helpful but not pushy! Gary’s mom, Sue, has been selling furniture since 1978. Gary began working with her in the summer of 1982 while attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. Gary and Beth were married in 1995 and moved to Muskogee in the spring of 1998 after their son Kenny was born. They opened GK’s in 1999 and shortly thereafter welcomed their daughter Molly to the family. Our customers have always appreciated the family atmosphere. The store has been open for more than 22 years and our staff has over 100 combined years of furniture experience.
Founded in 1999 by Gary & Beth Cooper and Kenneth & Doris Weddle, GK Home Furnishings is located at 411 West Broadway in the historical downtown district of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Built in 1918, the building features beautiful mosaic tile, oak banisters and wide-open spaces that were customary of buildings built in the early 1900’s.
Our store hours are Thursdays and Fridays 11:30-4:30 and Saturdays 9:30-3:30. Gary is always willing to meet customers at the store after hours or schedule a consultation with them in their home. You won’t find that kind of service at the “big box stores”!
